Buying Diamonds

When it’s all said and done, it’s a trust factor with the customer and me. In my line of work referrals are huge. If you’re referred to me, and your friends were happy with me, and my product, then the minute we sit down you know two things. First, your friends think very highly of me and second, I need to go the extra mile for you. I will do what it takes to make you very happy. Now getting back to diamonds. You need to come up with a realistic budget. Then decide on the shape of the diamond, and then we discuss the certification of said stones. GIA, OR, and EGL are the certifications that I prefer to use. When buying a diamond you have to consider the carat, color, clarity or cut. I then would say let me bring in a few diamonds with there cert. And we can then evaluate each of the stones. You should understand that the cut is probably the most important quality factor, and the most challenging, of the four C’s to understand. The brilliance of a diamond depends heavily on its cut. Most diamonds contain some inner flaws/or inclusions, thatoccur during the formation process. The visibility, number and size of these inclusions determine what is called the clarity of a diamond. Colorless diamonds are the most desirable since they allow the most refraction of light (sparkle). Off white diamonds absorb light; inhibiting brilliance. A carat is the unit of weight by which a diamond is measured. Once you select the stone you like, the next step is to decide on the type of setting you would like. We look at your pictures that I am sure you cut out, also my catalogs. I can make any ring you would like to wear, figure a price for the setting, and decide on the type of metal to use. I always add my extra touch to the ring to make them originals.
